TRAINING CAFÉ LÁRY FÁRY
A one-day pop up café at the piazzeta of the National Theatre. Come and enjoy a delicious espresso, latté or cappuccino – all served by mentally handicapped people. You can also choose from a selection of treats that the mentally handicapped bake in their special training bakery.
The Civic Association Pferda has been operating in the region of Rychnov nad Kněžnou and Náchod since 2004. Its long-term objectives are to improve the quality of lives of mentally handicapped and to integrate this marginalized minority into majority society. Currently the association runs the following projects: two training cafés, a training bakery, a training flat, the programme of protected living, and a training cleaning service.
