GOLDEN CROCK / SMALL HOUR
Fiesta will host special open-air versions of two successful choreographies by 420PEOPLE.
The same wish, the same dream: they set three people on the same path. Along the way, as the present is constantly changing, they first have to discover themselves. Their own revelations are taking us into unexpected situations and places. And perhaps these changes are the true present.
Choreography: Václav Kuneš, music: Lajkó Félix, arranged by: Harmen Straatman; performing: Nataša Novotná, Václav Kuneš, Milan Odstrčil.
When something happens that changes one’s life forever does “an hour” remain just one hour? In our mind we return to the moment in many following days, months and years afterwards. For how many hours in total? And how many hours we spend trying to forget the moment? In both cases we spend hours and hours accepting it. For her performance in Small Hour Nataša Novotná received the Thálie Prize 2008 and Critics' Prize presented by the dance magazine Dance Europe. For the choreography Václav Kuneš was awarded the Sazka and Theatre Journal Award.
Choreography: Václav Kuneš, music: Robert a Ronald Lippok, Matthew Barley (based on H. Purcell); performing: Nataša Novotná, Václav Kuneš.
