The best moments of these past years’ shows at the Laterna magika depicted in one patchwork evening performance. A fresh shower of dynamic rhythm, playful motions and lyrical passages, framed in an appealing video-collage. The first part of the evening is composed of a selection of the audience’s most appreciated scenes, the second part is devoted to the newest creations, it also presents in a peculiar manner the now world-famous principles of the Laterna magika through a retro revue.

Cocktail 008 starts with an excerpt from the Wonderful Circus, the oldest show performed on this stage: it has been part of the Laterna magika’s repertoire for over thirty years. It is followed by two scenes from the dancing drama Casanova, and a short passage from the project Graffiti, from which an excerpt of the homonymous choreography by Jiří Bubeníček was selected. Scenes from the shows The Argonauts and Riddles, which are not on the repertoire anymore, are also performed.
The second part of the evening is composed of Code 58.08, a small show on how film and digital technology can understand each other, and it is accompanied by an expressive dance choreography. A retro dance performance won’t be missing, as well as a peek into the backstage and a short tour of places linked to the Laterna magika and its activity, to which the audience will be taken by a central duo of dancers.
