COCKTAIL 008

The best moments of these past years’ shows at the Laterna magika depicted in one patchwork evening performance. A fresh shower of dynamic rhythm, playful motions and lyrical passages, framed in an appealing video-collage. The first part of the evening is composed of a selection of the audience’s most appreciated scenes, the second part is devoted to the newest creations, it also presents in a peculiar manner the now world-famous principles of the Laterna magika through a retro revue. more

INTERNATIONAL WEEKS OF DANCE - PROFI SCENE HARVEST

The first evening of this year´s edition of International Weeks of Dance will see chamber choreographies created by the following artists and ensembles: Attila Egerházi and the ballet ensemble of Jihočeské divadlo (The Southern Bohemia Theatre), young artists from the ballet ensemble of the National Theatre such as Tomáš Rychetský, Zuzana Šimáková, Viktor Konvalinka or Hana Turečková, and artists based abroad, among them Veronika Kornová (Nationaltheater Mannheim), Eva Kolářová (Ballet du Rhin Strassbourg), Bralen Bratislava with the choreographer Jana Letenajová and others. more

INTERNATIONAL WEEKS OF DANCE - A HAPPENING OF CONSERVATORIES

A composed night will present pieces created at both foreign and Czech conservatories. You will thus see conservatory ensembles from Montevarchi (Italy), Basel (Switzerland), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Košice, Trnava and Bratislava (Slovakia). Czech creation will be represented by conservatories from Ostrava, Brno, and Prague´s Dance Conservatory and Dance Centre Prague. Last but not least, renowned dance schools such as Bobalet Košice, the Prague Dance Perfect, and Pop Balet will present their shows. more

GRAFFITI

A journey beneath the colorful surface of the modern characteristics and symbols that form a part of the throbbing city’s expansiveness. Let yourselves be captivated by dynamic image animations and by modern choreographies which relate the gripping tales taking place below this surface. more

FOCUSED ON DETAIL 2

After the successful 2010 launch of the project Focused on Detail, Václav Kuneš and Nataša Novotná are now back with a follow-up to the concept. Besides the core members of the company, the Czech audience will have the opportunity to see on stage renowned guests from abroad: the master of improvisation Michael Schumacher and a Japanese choreographer and dancer Kenzo Kusuda. more
