420PEOPLE

AFFORDANCE

A special programme has been prepared for the first performance to be given by 420PEOPLE at the New Stage. In adition to superlative Czech and foreign dancers, also appearing in their premiere choreography Affordance, will be Michael Schumacher, a mignificent American dancer and pedagogue, a true master of improvisation. The mixed bill will also contain the ensemble´s most successful choreographies: A Small Hour (which earned Václav Kuneš a nomination for the 2009 Thalia Award) and Bolero, as choreographed by Ohad Naharin. more

The best moments of these past years’ shows at the Laterna magika depicted in one patchwork evening performance. A fresh shower of dynamic rhythm, playful motions and lyrical passages, framed in an appealing video-collage. The first part of the evening is composed of a selection of the audience’s most appreciated scenes, the second part is devoted to the newest creations, it also presents in a peculiar manner the now world-famous principles of the Laterna magika through a retro revue. more
